• When you log on to our website as a member, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, e-mail address and the time of your registration as a member on this website. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

• When you visit our website as a non-member, we collect only the information you leave when you visit to include any comments you may leave, inquiries you make by email using the 'Contact Us' button or the 'Get in Touch' form.

• All of the above information remains on this website in the sole care of ELSTA's National Executive and Web Moderator.

• We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Services;

  • To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  • To be able to contact our Visitors and Members with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages about our events;

  • To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services; 

  • To comply with any applicable National and EU laws and regulations.

How do we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors' personal information?

• ELSTA is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to manage and host our website and communications with ELSTA members and the public.

• Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

• As of October 2020, ELSTA does not accept payments for any Membership Fees or Event Attendance using Wix.com's payment services. If this changes in the future, this part of the Privacy Policy will be amended to reflect this change.

• The information you provide to ELSTA and on this website will never be shared with a third party. This policy is part of the ELSTA Constitution (2012) and can be viewed here. (Article 3 (f) II)
