About the Event
Come along and meet other teachers and educators who work in the Post Primary Sector in an informal Teach Meet format.
This event is for ELSTA Members ONLY. If you are not yet a member, please apply for membership at www.elstaireland.com/membership
You will be asked during the registration process to enter your province and current role. This is so that we can form Breakout Rooms of regional groups of educators who work in similar roles.
- 1 resource or idea
- 2 question
- or both!
There will be a 5min presentation from Anne-Sophie Cocault followed by regional break out rooms where a small group of educators can share:
Anne-Sophie Cocault is an EAL/ESOL teacher and Cambridge-accredited teacher trainer with over 15 years’ experience in Central Europe, the Middle East, Ireland and the UK.
She is now based in Belfast where she works for the Full Service Community Network in various schools to support newcomer pupils and families.
She also trains educators in the field of literacy and the role of home languages in English language learning. She runs a multilingual story club called Tongues and Tales where people come and share stories and songs in various languages.
In her free time, she collects international children’s books and will read stories to whoever will listen!
If this event goes well, we will hold an event like this monthly!
